National Guard Unit Gets Ready For Inspection


Sergeant First Class Brett Cardin works through lunch Tuesday, April 7th. He has to complete corrections to the 830th Concrete Company's manning roster and other documents, which will be inspected by the state on April 25th














Tuesday, April 7th Private First Class Dusty Howard and Specialist Josh Bailey cleaned M-16's for the inspection.























All parts of the weapon are open for inspection, so the soldiers must be thorough.

























The 830th Concrete Company stands in formation on Sunday, April 5th. Sergeant First Class J. Linder briefs the group on there mission. They are tasked to wash equipment in their motor pool and prepair it for inspection.

SPRING FEVER FUN

The ULM Ski Team helped to jump Spring Fever off with a demonstration Tuesday, March 17. There was a wave of energy that would run through the crowd each time a skier preformed a stunt...


Members of the ULM School of music ride back from Bayou Park Thursday in their musical pick up truck...


The pits for the oozeball games were dug the day before by ULM groundskeepers.



So that by Friday the Monroe Fire Dept. would have nice, big, fresh holes to make mud in...


And that is exactly what they did...


The game were soon underway and the competition was fierce...
The Enema Enemies battled it out for their second round victory... The Monroe Fire Dept was also nice enough to help the teams clean up after the matches were complete...
Super Warhawk Weekend featured the ULM spring football game. The team ran through drills on Friday in preparation for the scrimmage.



By the end of the game on Saturday, Riverside Catering had the craw fish waiting...
And a long line didn't seem to bother those who attended the Spring game craw fish boil...

Angelia Upton waits as her craw dads are piled high...

The event was a smash... hardly any craw fish were left, it's unlikely that anyone went home with an empty stomach.


Even Ace was out to get a taste of the spicy coruscation...
